ACV: Cryofire

Postby Gradeus » Wed May 16, 2012 10:47 pm

AC: Cryofire

Normal Mode/Scan Mode EN: 5028/11333

UHD-13 Galahad
UCR-10/A
KT-4S2/Svir
KT-2N3 Putuo

UFC-11 Glance
UGN-70/Ho Vital
BT21 Shinatsu
URD-36/ER

UMM-21 Dimapur
Seidenbaum SR13
Seidenbaum SR13
Oxeye HG25
Oxeye HG25

Strategy
Typical sniper, the frame isn't all that OP as much since the patch. This is more of a stunbot, use the Seidenbaums for long/normal range and the Oxeyes for closer range while moving back to a more comfortable position. Or if they're lighter, stunlock the poor thing with the Oxeye if you want/can.

Edit: Bumpdate since the patch. Changed things around a bit here. Good EN stats here so I put the Svir on instead of the Ilmenau.

What are the performance modifications on the weapon loadout?

If in doubt, disconnect your internet.

Can I get actual comments instead of flame-battles on every thread? :/

Lotus is Power, Akazien is Rapid Fire, KO-3K2 is Power, and the Elko is also Rapid Fire. Although since it's the lighter Laser Rifle I've been considering Power.

You're experiencing EN issues aren't you? Specialized for Rapid-Fire reduces EN Consumption During Use on Thermal Energy weapons. Specialized for Power will increase that, and cause further issues with EN management.

It does? Huh... alright. The EN issues came from using drainy weapons, and the unusual Dhanbad for me. It was a good idea with the dual-shoulder availability, and was needed with Predire.

And on EN issues, I will always be looking for ways to increase output. Sometimes sacking a weapon is a good way, but I like to maximize combo potential while maintaining balance.

It's not as easy to keep a decent EN in ACV than in ACFA...

And I'm not too much of a spammer of my laser rifle shots *usually* so I've never really had EN issues with that on my Power and Rapid-Fire ULR-22/R's.

Swapped Akazien for Seidenbaum, tossed Elko for ULR-22/R, swapped arms to KE (UAM-10/L), ditched shoulder as a result, and switched from Predire to Glance. This revision is a more energy-efficient model with more speed and a little less range. Lock speed remains effective with the Glance, and the weapon changes are personal preferences. Comments/criticism/concerns welcome.

It seems my EN skills are better than I thought, from FA. Improving is always good. Perhaps since I was running on 3.6k through the whole story.

Huh. Bumpdate, this thing's now running dual Seids and dual Oxeyes. Latter is probably unnecessary but w/e. Suggestions welcome.

Changelog:
Arms to Svir from UAM-10/A.
Legs to Putuo from Wutain.
Shoulder to Dimapur from N/A.
Arm weapon to [Seidenbaum, Seidenbaum, Oxeye, Oxeye] from [Seidenbaum, ULR-22/R, KO-3K2, Lotus].
