By your record with it, it looks like a top class AC.

Good job.

After using it so much, this AC has become an extension of me. I practiced, and practiced hard and for long hours to get as skilled with this AC as I have. Others (lX Ravens Nest Xl) tried to force me to switch to HRJs with dual Gatling Guns and Strekoza Battle Rifles during the whole time I practiced with this machine. You aren't going to get skilled with an AC if every couple games you change your loadout. You have to stick with the same AC for everything you do. Many other players will look at my AC-01 Osan and declare it unfit for anything, (Because it's not HRJ, because it's not dual wielding gats, because it's not dual wielding shotguns, because it's not dual wielding sniper rifles, etc.) but I'm posting it here to brag about it.

If love exists in a cold mind, then that's what I have for AC-01 Osan. I'm here to show it off.

Your right on the money there, as in previous AC games, I find the best thing to Do to play the game is to find a style that works for you in that particular AC game, then build a semi decent build, work on it a little, then just practice.

I'm yet to find the perfect weapons for my build, but i want to steer clear of 'broken' parts, for my honor to retain it's integrity. It's apparent you have done just this, and it seems to me like this build has helped you get the most out of this game.

Good luck with the rest of this game, not that you look like you'll be needing it. (or have much of the game left for that matter.)

Well, that's me and Hitman. He's not finished yet, but when he is it'll be glorious.

I take it you won't want us to offer criticism on the design, then?

Do so if you will. No matter the result, AC-01 Osan wont change. My ACX-03 is still in concept phase, though. So any details listed here will be taken under consideration.

Well it's an utterly boring build, but then I imagine the blade of Isildur from Lord of the Rings looked pretty boring until Aragorn turned out to be born to wield it. Go forth and conquer, my boy.

That said, HERP DERP USE TANSYS AND STREKZ

Also, can we have the emblem? I find this build oddly interesting and I'd like to recreate it perfectly.

I don't utilize personal emblems, only Unit Identified team emblems. I'm afraid that's not for distribution.

AC-01 Osan is named after my first military base station, and is "AC-01" as it's the first AC I've produced.
Hence the military style paint scheme. I have some decals on it as well that make it remniscent of an A-10 Warthog. I'll take pics and source them later. Don't know how long till my capture card gets here though.

Why the dual Valdosta though? Isn't it too underpowered and there are better rifles (other than the broken Tansy of course)? Although out of all rifles it would be the most rapid one.

I have to admit though I am tempted to use Valdosta quite a lot because of its rapid fire capability, but the low damage per shot worries me.

As for using what you prefer is very true, but then sometimes I get too attached to my AC as well that its hard to built or use things OTHER than IT. :(

For example, I will never pilot any AC that is not a Middleweight Biped. I just can't use other leg class for some reason. I made a UW user AC just now and I can't pilot it well because its just not my style to use UW or have too much of a weight in my AC.

I respect this build. You know what you like in your AC and your not going to change out for broken or over-used legs. People always give me crap for using bipeds. Apparently if you don't use HRJ's and dual gats/shotties and flash rockets your an automatic noob :p

Lies! Don't listen to them!!:P

I prefer middle biped anytime of the day than HRJ's or any other legs (not even heavy biped). HRJ have good stats, but it just have poor ground strafing capability, and doesn't suit my usual tactics, and I just can't seem to pilot anything that is not using middle biped well, its the perfect balance for me.

Alternatively you can just get a good camera and a stable hand and take a shot onto your TV screen can't you? Works ok for me but I sure wished I had a capture card.

Probably I will never own one, not until the next gen at least... I invested too much on PC this generation.

I like with what you did to the head, took me a few second to realize what head part is THA... oh Decals.

A capture card is a piece of hardware combined with a pice of software that allows the user to stream external media devices, such as Xbox 360, PS3, bluray, etc. through your computer so that you can record video or take snap-shots of your external media. This is so that you don't have to use that barbaric method of using a camera to take pictures or video to upload to your computer. Much higher quality.

I'll refer you to the following thread for more information regarding this: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17199

The jaw is of a warthog, queue the tusk-like teeth on the lower jaw. Thanks for the compliments.

The build handles better than most would think, due to its light weight despite having tempete boosters, although I share the same concerns as Valk; What if you're facing a tank or defence spec AC that has defences higher than your weapons' damage?

My Everyman was using a similar loadout (and I still do, just been experimenting with laser rifles and TE weaponry) and my #1 worry was just that. If you were to go against my Everyman with that weapon layout (not comparing, just an example of why I've been deviating away from Rifles and going for a focus towards CE and TE weaponry), I would have the advantage of being able to bounce your shots, have more AP and be just as relatively mobile with my own battle rifles.

Just a concern from a fellow AC pilot. I too respect this build and it made me take a break from balancing TE weaponry on my build and enjoy the simplicity and light weight of dual Jessups, making me miss them more than I expected to. But I'm still torn on my concerns with the lack of damage.
