Game: Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift (Kaido Battle)

Question: How does one unlock the RE Amemiya FD3S?

Image

Also, why is it called Tokyo Xtreme Racer Drift? I mean, yeah, it's by Genki, and it sort of has the same driving physics, but nothing in this game has anything to do with Tokyo...

Anyone knows how to get the cheat Cloaking/Invisiblity in Perfect Dark 64. We have to do G5 Building in 1:40. It is impossible because of the door decoder at the end of the mission, it takes 1 minute to decode, so we have to do the mission in 35 secondes? Is there any strategies or something.

And for Devil May Cry 3 mission 20 at Dante Must Die. Defeating Vergil is impossible.

Kaido battle 2: Chain reaction Car list. (v0.1)
By MarutiDriver
**************************************** **************************************

This is just a quick guide which will let you know about all the cars in this
wonderful touge game, that's it, no gamplay information, settings or whatever
just the guide.

A quick note about this list's usage: This list may only be posted on GameFAQs
http://www.gamefaqs.com, no other sites are allowed to host this guide in any
form. Ye may use thy guide freely, as long as ye have it for personal use, ye
shan't use thy guide to earn a profit of any kind. Oh, and thou cannot get ye
flask...

Cars in this guide will contain the following information: Make, model,
drivetrain, engine type, NA/turbo, and the condition to make it available.

Drivetrains:

FF= Front engine, front wheel drive
FR= Front engine, rear wheel drive
MR= Midship engine, rear wheel drive
4WD= All wheel drive

Engine types:

S= In-line engine (straight)
V= V-line engine
B= Boxer engine (horizontally oposed)
RE= Rotary engine

Conditions to unlock each car should be clear enough, but anyway, defeat rival
#xxx means you have to win a race against that particular rival (who may show
during the day), Clear so and so, means defeating the slashers in the touge
mentioned. That's all, have fun

But for some reason this isn't on gamefaqs...

And for Devil May Cry 3 mission 20 at Dante Must Die. Defeating Vergil is impossible.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/game/920607.html

IIRC some attacks from Beowulf or Agni and Rudra are effective (but I still didn't manage to defeat him though :? )

Is there any strategies or something.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/n64/game/198275.html

Required Mission Objectives:
--------------------------------------------
• Holograph meeting conspirators
• Retrieve Dr. Caroll backup from safe
• Exit building

Cheat Walkthrough:
--------------------------------------------

Ya see, there's that mind-game thing again. It takes a full minute for
the vault door to open, and there's no way in Hell it's possible to get
that far in only 40 seconds. So what's the trick?

In the first room, run to the dead guard on the floor, collect his gun,
turn to your right, and peg the guard right there. Turn and look at the
wall on the opposite side of the room, and near the wall and the second
cloaked guard will be there. With memorization, you can get this down in
under 10 seconds.

In the second cloaked guard room, make them appear by going inside the
glass walls, then run and stand in front of the entrance to the room.
You will see cloaked guards run right down the center of the room: point
your CMP-150 in the middle and fire off an entire clip. They will run
right into it and they will all die. Everyone, and you can get the
keycard within seconds. If you're unlucky enough that one survives, kill
him as quickly as possible. Exit the room.

In the room with the alarm, kill everyone as fast as you can, again. Run
up the stairs, duck down, and go through the ceiling vents. When you
arrive to the point where you need the CamSpy, deploy it, but leave it
there, up in the vents. Drop down, kill the three guys around the second
alarm box, and rush inside the vault room. Put the door-decoder on the
console, then switch back to the CamSpy and send it inside the meeting
room.

Here's the trick: while the cinema is playing, the door de-coder will be
cracking the code to the vault, the timer be displayed at the bottom,
and even the alarm will be blaring in your ears! The great thing about
this is the fact it adds NO time to your gameplay timer. This isn't a
glitch, it was programmed to work this way. When Trent Easton starts
talking about the President, the alarm will go off and the vault timer
will stop, but keep the cinema on, because the vault takes forever to
open. You may as well watch the entire cinema. Then the rest of it is
history, as they say...

Take note of that trick.

Anyhow, that's that, I guess...

Thanks, Black Dragon, but the US version is Kaido Battle 1. I appreciate the help, though!

I did find out from a friend at GTPlanet, though, that you get that FD3S when you defeat all 200 rivals. Looks like I have my work cut out for me.

Okay, need some help. I'd like to know if there's any way to access the specs of my PC, so I can check what might need upgrading in order to play certain games. For example, my copy of The House of the Dead III is lagging big time, even at the lowest settings, so I'd like to try and upgrade my PC a bit (hopefully in the 'free' manner) so that I can play it in arcade style full blown graphics and speed.

Here are the specs of the game (min/max):
Pentium 1.0Ghz/1.4 (mine is 3.2)
128mb RAM/256mb
DirectX 9.0c or higher
8x CD-ROM Drive (got a faster one)
640x480 32 bit display (got a better display)
700MB HD space (got several gigs free)
Direct3D Graphics Card & 64mb VRAM (???)
DirectSound

In a nutshell, is there any way for me to check if I have the stuff I have no idea about, like the RAM? I'd also like to try and upgrade for free, but am willing to pay, if need be. Thanks in advance for the help, folks.

Need to check the RAM?

My Computer, Control Panel then System.

Did I misunderstand the question?

Thanks for the tip, I did need to check the RAM. To be perfectly honest, I'm thinking that just might be it (I pray not, because RAM is freaking expensive). But when I just looked a moment ago, it turns out I have 504MB of RAM, so that isn't it. I'm going to try downloading the latest DirectX and seeing if that works...if not, back to the drawing board.

maybe try and get rid of some of the older programs you don't use. That might help.

Thanks for the idea, Kits. Unfortunately, after some more testing and having downloaded the latest DirectX, it looks like I'm shelling out a few bucks for a slightly upgraded graphics card.

How much VRAM does your video card have? to find this out type "window"+r and in the run window that pops up type dxdiag and say yes to the prompts. Then once your system specs pop up click on the display tab and look for the Approx. total mem. THAT number is your VRAM. That usually is the problem with slow 3D games and that's probably what you need to upgrade. How do you do that? get a new video card.

Thanks for the tip, Sigma. Unfortunately, it appears that isn't the problem either, though - I have 128, while the recommended is only 64. I honestly don't know what else I can do. I'm going to wait until PP gets back on and ask him how he's running it - he doesn't seem to have any problems on his comp with it, so I might as well as him.

If you need more detailed system specifications, and have DirectX installed, go to the Start bar, click on "Run", and type "dxdiag" into the box. This opens up a diagnostic tool that allows you to check your system specs, video card and drivers, as well as test DirectX functionality.

what does it mean when the red circle/needle thing in the loading screens for Gran Turismo 4 turns red? this always happens before I actually get to the start screen...

I've never seen it go Red. At least I dont recall seeing it go red.

Does the game still load when it goes red?

No, it just stays on that screen.
I thought it might have something to do with the data... so I deleted my data (I'm a retard I know, but it's a friend's game so I have to make sure it works) and tried again. It didn't work.

I cleaned the game (good old fashion spit and a t-shirt) and now it works...

It's kinda weird that it goes red though... and not just freeze or something... oh well... time to go back and go through the blasted license again..

(if anyone thinks I'm an idiot, don't worry, I do too)

I dont blame you for clearing your data. I have done that before with other games. But I would have tried cleaning the disc first lol.

Hey if you need any GT help dont hesitate to give Sets or I a yell. If I dont know something on the game hes bound to. Tim and Ami are also good people to talk to about it.

OK, dudes, I need some help. Specifically with Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth on PSP. I need some info on ALL of the available heros and what they can equip weapon-wise. Also, some hints on keeping your Evaluation points high would be nice as well (Damn those shiny Artifacts and me keeping them).
