I am kind of disappointed that the Su-37 is not in there. The 35-E is good, but lacks the thrust vectoring that the 37 has.Maybe it will be a DLC,I just hate to have to pay to download my favorite plane of all...The Su-37 has always been my love, lol.I also hope they can throw in the ADF-01,that thing was badass on Ace Combat 5 and Zero.

RPGs in Assault Horizon are considered missiles (retarded, I know), but still. Point being the missile was literally invisible, as I got hit in the front a few times by said invisible missile.

More an annoyance than anything else, but it's a demo, so meh.

New video I got from IGN's Channel by email. If you look closely, you can see a brief instant where a bomber door opens and targets are visible through it.I was wondering how bombers would work and that gave me an idea.

The new Su-35, not the original Su-27M/Su-35. Annoying, I know.

At a glance, it looks like a standard Su-27, but it's significantly updated. From what I've heard, they found that the forward canards added more weight than anything else; the new -35 uses even more powerful TV'd engines, and more modern avionics, instead.

Admittedly, the old 35/37 had its own aesthetic appeal, though.

Wow,thanks Tim. I didn't know of this new derivative. Now I'm more hyped about it,but like you said,I will miss the old -37. It looked so mean but I guess any Su designation plane would (except the Fullback,I always thought it was goofy looking).

Too bad I won't be picking this up on release day. Got Skyrim and Dark Souls on the way, and my money's going toward those.

I'd be picking up battlefield 3 as well had I had a good enough computer to run it in full specs and 60 FPS.

ANyway, that's off-topic.

On-topic.

Pre-order jet isn't even that great. an old relic from Vietnam.

No building destruction, except during certain DFM moments. That would be cool, but you can make some pretty sharp turns,in the right planes. The F-15S/MTD feels like it can do a U turn around a telephone pole at 1300 mph, lol. You can't do some of the freaky maneuvers that you can do on HAWX,like the move called "the Cobra",made famous by the Su-27 and sharp, stall turns. But,many planes are pretty agile.I am waiting for the YF-23A to come out,and I hope the make DLC with some of the best fictional planes in the series. The ADF-01,X-02 and most especially, the XFA-27.I REALLY want the XFA-27 on here.I heard it was on that Ace Combat game on the PSP.And,it may be a bit too far fetched, but seeing the UI-4054 "Aurora" and maybe the X-49,from Ace Combat 3 would be cool.

actually glad most of the super jets aren't in ACAH. Allows more of a skill gap between good players and bad ones.

true, but there are already a big difference in planes like the F-16C or F/A-18F and the F-22 or PAK-FA.What's one more? I just love that XFA-27.That thing was sick.It looked like it should be going through space, not through clouds, lol.

Either way, jets shouldn't be much different in a balance standpoint, just each fulfilling certain niches of playstyles.

I guess that's where DFM really comes in.If you can use it well enough, you can likely dominate Su-35's and F-22's in an F-16C or even a F-117A.You just have to master counter maneuvers.

Personally think DFM's a stupid gimmick mode. However, that's my opinion.
