Re: Daemon X Machina

Not something super new, but found a video with some decent unedited gameplay. Digging the music, but I'm also taking a look at the games quick boost. QB ended up hurting the gameplay in the last few AC games, IMO, so I'm hoping it'll act a little different in this game, leaving some dodging ability...

Re: Daemon X Machina

New trailer showing some new footage. Not seeing the variety of leg types AC is known for, but it's early yet. https://youtu.be/mIZsMCOp1v0 EDIT: Also took a look at some new gameplay. Multiplayer hangars, reverse-engineering boss weapons, and H+ is a freakin' gameplay mechanic now. https://youtu.be...

Re: Daemon X Machina

Nintendo is helping publish the game, so yeah it is exclusive to the Switch, to the disappointment of many I'm sure. Happy and I don't have one just yet, but with the upcoming releases of this, Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, Smash Ultimate, and My Friend Pedro, we're gonna pick one up eventually. Tha...

Re: Daemon X Machina

They showed off a little bit of early gameplay as well. So we've got a customizable pilot, and a hangar bay that displays weapons in your inventory (Looking at 3:25 you can see what it almost certainly this games KARASAWA). You can pick up weapons and parts from fallen enemies, as well as environmen...

Daemon X Machina

Nintendo has just announced at E3 2018, a new customizable mecha game by Marvelous Entertainment coming to the Switch. But here's the kicker: It's produced by Kenichiro Tsukuda, who produced Armored Core 2 through Nexus, or as we old fogeys know them, "The best ones". Also on board is clas...

Metal Wolf Chaos XD

Looky-looky! Devolver Digital has just announced they'll be releasing a remastered version of Metal Wolf Chaos, actually released in the US, and for XBoxOne AND PS4

I am… VERY happy about this.

And you should be too.

Re: Discord?

I'm 99% sure we don't have one, if we do I'm unaware of it.
To be honest I'm kind of an old fogey who isn't even quite sure what a Discord is. It's like a forum/chatroom deal on your phone right? I had checked one out for Guilty Gear before but didn't quite grasp how it worked.

Re: Well Hello Again

Howdy Mirage, it's been a long time indeed. Not too much to report here aside from the forum update a little while ago, helped keep out the bots. FROM is confirmed to be working on a new AC game though, so that's nice to have on the horizon, even better if it brings a little activity back here. We'l...

Re: Code:HARDCORE

Ardently I've kept my eye on the kickstarter hoping it would reach the PS4 version stretch goal of $77k, which it's very close to. I scroll down to take a look and turns out they're crowd funding on two different sites, Kickstarter and Modian. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/GriffonsScythe/ca...

Re: Code:HARDCORE

A new trailer has come out, showcasing a little bit more! Looks like it won't just be a multiplayer brawler, but it'll have a cinematic story mode as well. It's looking really good, and they're certainly looking towards a console release as well, not just PC, which is fantastic. https://youtu.be/JYT...

Re: Dark Souls 3

The first DLC for Dark Souls 3, "Ashes of Ariandel", has just been revealed! https://youtu.be/iu1NCPMC7D0 Looks pretty great just by looking at that. The wooden bridge looks an awful lot like the beginning of the painted world, so I'm wondering(hoping?) there's a connection. Perhaps a reve...

Re: Code:HARDCORE

That's what I was thinking. Probably not something I'll spend all my effort into getting good at but maybe something fun to pull out when some friends are over. If that be the case, probably the only deciding factor will be price.

Code:HARDCORE

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an abundance of details to go on, but developer RocketPunch Games is working on a 2D mech brawler called Code:HARDCORE, aiming for release on Steam and consoles. Looks like fun.

Re: 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

You do have a point there, but I have a feeling it's not indicative of gameplay if their older games are anything to go by. The two games I've played were quite action oriented with some RPG leveling mechanics, Muramasa being a side-scrolling hack-&-slash, and Dragon's Crown being more of an old...

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

So at TGS a few months ago Atlus announced a new mecha game by developer VanillaWare. VanillaWare games are well known for their stunning visual style and tight gameplay, I've played and loved both Dragon's Crown and Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and want to play through their remake of Odin Sphere. So...

Re: ACSL: Lanius

is that....a stabby quad?! The stabbiest of quads that ever did stab. I think my fav novelty/experiment AC to do is always a titan missile AC. was always fun to bust something like that out in a 4 player match, lol Haha yeah I had a build like that in AC4. It was actually quite effective since Larg...

ACSL: Lanius

Just a thought I had running around in my head, more for fun than actual viability, though I'd certainly need to brush off the cobwebs before trying this one out. I've always loved the pilebunkers, in almost any game they're in, but given how hard they are in the PS2 AC games, I've never made a desi...
